Fillies' Classic may be booked for export with Irish and French aces to the fore

Only one market leader has landed the Qipco 1,000 Guineas in the last 11 years and after winter favourite Inspiral was ruled out of the race last Sunday, this year's Classic offers another conundrum for punters to decipher.

Unbeaten in four runs at two and a Group 1 winner over the Guineas course and distance, Inspiral had a tick in every box, whereas those left to battle it out in her absence do not.

Nevertheless, there is still a somewhat familiar look to the head of the market, with Aidan O'Brien, chasing his eighth win in the race, fourth in a row and sixth in the last seven years, fielding the favourite.
