Diamond King, winner of the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival in March, embarks on his career over fences at Galway today, when he faces five rivals in the galwayraces.com Beginners Chase.

That Cheltenham triumph was one of four victories over hurdles for the eight-year-old, who will be making his first appearance since finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Champion Stayers Hurdle over three miles at the Punchestown festival in March.
