This meeting began with the world's best racehorse producing one of the finest displays ever witnessed on the Knavesmire, causing purists to debate how the thrillingly brilliant Baaeed compares to Frankel. With York's Group 1 prizes now won, we are charged with solving the mighty puzzle that has challenged punters since 1843. Who wins the Ebor?

While the Grand National towers above all jumps handicaps, there is perhaps no one Flat equivalent that defines the genre. That said, if Britain does have a signature Flat handicap, it most likely is the Sky Bet Ebor, which with its £500,000 pot is undoubtedly the most valuable. It once again has a turnout worthy of the money.
