Yulong Gold Fairy, who was a winner over course and distance last year and finished runner-up in Leopardstown's 1,000 Guineas Trial on her reappearance last month, seeks a first Pattern-race success in this six-runner Group 3.

The daughter of Mount Nelson has shown her best form on testing ground but trainer Dermot Weld believes she will handle the likely faster conditions, with the going described as yielding on Sunday.

He said: "I think she'll handle the ground. She's been very consistent and we're hoping she'll earn some more black type."

Aidan O'Brien is represented by twice-raced maiden Broadway, a half-sister to Arc and King George winner Danedream.

O'Brien said: "Broadway is a nice sort who is dropping back in trip from her run at Leopardstown last time. We think she's progressed and that she will run a good race, although she will appreciate longer distances as the season goes on."

Ger Lyons saddles Lightening Quick, who won a maiden over this trip on debut at Leopardstown last season before finishing eighth in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket.

The Jim Bolger-trained Dawn Delivers, winner of a 6f maiden at the Curragh in July, is fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time, while three-time winner Xenobia – the only four-year-old in the line-up –was successful in a handicap over this distance on her first start of the season last month.

Iiex Excelsa, sixth in the Leopardstown Group 3 in which Yulong Gold Fairy finished second, represents Fozzy Stack.
