This Friday finale is only in its fourth year but has already produced three fine winners, none better than the colt who triumphed 12 months ago.
My Dream Boat went on to land this season's Prince of Wales's Stakes, so he was probably rather a good thing here off a BHA rating of 92 for trainer Clive Cox, who seeks to complete back-to-back victories with the front-running Bobby Wheeler, an excellent second at Glorious Goodwood last time.
