International forays may come on to the agenda for Kings Fete in time, but first he bids to maintain an excellent and consistent domestic record for Sir Michael Stoute in the St Simon Stakes.

In five starts this year the five-year-old has won twice, finished third twice and fifth. He has developed into a solid, classy stayer and had some of Saturday's rivals behind him when third in the Cumberland Lodge at Ascot last time out.
