Carli bidding to be King again for in-form trainer Caroline Bailey

Carli King bids not only to win this race for the second time in three years but also maintain the red-hot form of his trainer Caroline Bailey, who has sent out four winners from her last seven runners.

Adam Pogson again gets the ride on the 11-year-old, who races off a 2lb lower mark than two years ago, not having won in the interim.

Age is no barrier
Summery Justice is the oldest in the field at the age of 13 and is bidding to emulate last year's winner Incentivise, who was also that age.

Not for the favourites
Only one market leader has won in the last ten years and the last two winning starting prices have been 33-1 and 12-1.

He has won lots of money without winning a race this year and if one deserves to win a race he does. Jordan Nailor gave him a good ride at Cheltenham last October and takes a valuable 7lb off.

Caroline Bailey, trainer of Carli King
I would have preferred a bit better ground. He has run reasonably on soft but is better on better ground. He wouldn't like sticky ground but he has won the race and I'm reasonably hopeful.

Nigel Twiston-Davies, trainer of Deputy Commander and Yanmare
Both are stepping up in trip which could bring some improvement as Yanmare has struggled against the handicapper since his winning run. Deputy Commander won his novice well and has been staying on in his last two races.

Richard Newland, trainer of West Of The Edge
I was disappointed with his run at Exeter but think the ground dried out a bit too much for him. Hopefully it doesn't this time but he has still got to prove he stays these marathon trips and if he does he is still handicapped to win.

Oliver Sherwood, trainer of Beforeall
He's been disappointing but didn't run as badly as the placings suggest last time, running on late and I think this trip will suit him. He has dropped a fair way in the handicap, we're taking 7lb off and putting blinkers on.

Henry Daly, trainer of Vice Et Vertu
On his day he would have a great chance. He ran in snatches at Exeter, running on when it was all over, and this is not as good a race as that being 10lb lower so hopefully they will go a bit slower. We have put blinkers on as well to hopefully help him travel through the race.

Evan Williams, trainer of Abbeygrey
He ran very well last time. It is a step up in trip but probably a drop in class. My only worry is I can't see how he is well handicapped but he is consistent and genuine.
