Can Harry Redknapp score with highly regarded Bowtogreatness?

Pentland Hills already has a win on his record over fences but that was a walkover and he was lucky to complete on what was, in effect, his chasing debut at Cheltenham last month. He made a bad mistake at the sixth fence that day and almost lost jockey Nico de Boinville.
The dual Grade 1-winning juvenile hurdler will need to brush up his jumping if he is to pass the post in front in a real race over fences here, but he is definitely handicapped to do so. He races off just 147 and was 10lb higher than that at his peak over hurdles.
Bowtogreatness is a different type of horse altogether. Part owned by Harry Redknapp, he has always looked like he would reach his peak over fences and almost got up to beat Black Gerry in a driving finish on his chasing debut at Exeter.
Having looked held at the last, Bowtogreatness finished strongly to lose out by a short head and the front two pulled 13 lengths clear. A 5lb rise in the weights demands more, but there should be plenty of improvement to come.
Complete Unknown is another who has long looked like a chaser in the making and he ran well in a red-hot handicap hurdle at Haydock on his seasonal reappearance.
Trainer Paul Nicholls had been quite clear that chasing would be on Complete Unknown's agenda this season before that run and he starts over fences off the same mark as when last seen over hurdles in that Haydock contest. If he improves for the bigger obstacles, he could be dangerous.

What they say
Ben Pauling, trainer of Bowtogreatness
It was a very promising return at Exeter and he's come on nicely for the run. We've always held him in high regard and hopefully this can be a stepping stone to better races. He loves the track and will like any ease underfoot. It's no gimme and there are some other promising novices in there but it looks the right race for him.
Noel Williams, trainer of Farne
She's gone well fresh before and has been ready to run for quite a while but cancellations have made us wait. This race came up and she's taking on some good horses, but she has some chasing experience from last season, the track should suit her and the more rain the merrier. It's a competitive handicap but she has a light weight and hopefully will run very well. She's a decent mare.
David Pipe, trainer of First Lord De Cuet
He's done plenty of work and goes there in good order. It's a competitive race but he won't mind the ease in the ground and it'll be good to get him back on the track. He ran well in two chases on better ground when last in action but has form on soft ground and hopefully will develop into a better chaser than hurdler.
Evan Williams, trainer of Current Mood
I thought she'd be capable of winning a good race over hurdles this season but she's been disappointing, particularly last time. We thought we'd try her over fences in the hope she returns to form.
