A week in which Karl Burke suffered the unusual reverse of having a 1-16 favourite defeated will end on a wonderful high for the trainer and his team if Quiet Reflection can capture the 32Red Sprint Cup.

A Group 2 course-and-distance success in May was followed by the filly's resounding victory for her syndicate owners and former jump jockey rider Dougie Costello in the Commonwealth Cup.

That gave her a fifth consecutive win and although the sixth was not achieved, a fine third to Limato on unsuitably quick ground in the Darley July Cup was far from a disgrace.
