Following hot on the heels of football, and very possibly with a similar outcome, Alpinista is coming home.

More than a year has passed since the Darley Yorkshire Oaks favourite raced on home soil. The daughter of Frankel has subsequently embarked on a grand tour of Europe, overcoming some stellar names and considerable Brexit-generated paperwork to collect four consecutive Group 1 prizes.

Now, at last, Alpinista is back in Britain – and, all being well, it will be the last time we see her competing here this year.
