Bonus hunters bid to take winnings past £500,000 mark
A pair of Scoop6 winners will be chasing a bonus worth £230,572 at Newbury on Saturday after pocketing £307,122 each last weekend.
The anonymous pair, one of whom staked just £2 to land the bumper windfall, will be hoping to pick the winner of the 3.00 at Newbury as they bid to take their overall haul past the £500,000 mark.
Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: "We wish our mystery bonus hunters the very best of luck. They already have plenty of cash in the bank but it would be wonderful to see one of them breach the £500,000 barrier with their Scoop6 winnings."
The win fund for Saturday's bet starts at £87,002, and comprises four races from Newbury and two from Kelso – with all six legs set to be broadcast on ITV4.
