Ascot the focus as 23 ticket-holders chase bonus fund

Twenty-one ticket-holders will shoot for a Totescoop6 bonus fund of nearly £100,000 on Saturday, having banked just over £13,000 each on the bet last weekend.

However, to land the £97,473 crock of gold they face the tricky task of unravelling Ascot’s Gigaset International Handicap.

Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “We wish our band of bonus hunters the best of luck at Ascot. Incredibly, 19 of the tickets are held by small-staking punters. We’d love to see at least one of them pick the winner.”
