Lord Franklin has to overcome a wide draw and top weight if he is to repeat last year's win in the third running of the Jockey Club Grassroots Middle Distance Series Final.

Sponsored for the first time by the Lincolnshire-based KFE School of Frying Excellence, which offers a range of courses in fish and chip frying, the £25,000 handicap has attracted a maximum field of Class 3 handicappers and presents punters with a tricky puzzle.
