With 11 winners in the bag at Gowran Park this season Dermot Weld has the top track trainer title sewn up for the third season in a row. The master of Rosewell House saddles a leading contender for this 18-runner staying contest with Sir Raston.

The Sir Percy gelding's only previous win on the Flat came on the all-weather over 2m at Dundalk, but he won well over hurdles at Downpatrick last month and is bidding to reverse the form of his Curragh run behind second reserve New Direction (first) and Athenry Boy (fifth).
