On a typically quiet Sunday of racing in Britain, Brighton and Worcester take the lead with their family fun days, with course favourite Roy Rocket the star name on the card down by the Sussex coast.

The eight-year-old grey, trained by John Berry, caused quite a commotion at a storm-battered Brighton when powering to a ninth victory at the course last month, and he bids for a terrific tenth in the Holcombe Handicap (4.30).

At Worcester, the jumps meeting features a useful little novice chase (2.45) including highly-rated hurdler John Constable and a Cheltenham Festival winner in Flying Tiger.

There is no Irish action on Sunday, but for those who don't mind getting their racing fix elsewhere, there is Group racing at Longchamp and Baden-Baden. The latter course hosts the highest-quality race of the day, the Group 1 146th Longines Grosser Preis Von Baden (3.55). British trainers Roger Varian and Saeed Bin Suroor are represented with Defoe and Best Solution respectively.
