All you need to start your day as The Young Master steps out at Warwick
The week is building towards Newmarket's three-day Cambridgeshire meeting and the declarations for the opening day will be revealed today.
Time and the racing calendar wait for nobody however, and there are four meetings in the meantime, including a first jumps card at Warwick since May.
Last season, The Young Master contested races including the Becher Chase, the Kim Muir Challenge Cup and the Scottish Grand National in a high-profile but ultimately disappointing campaign. The nine-year-old steps into calmer waters at the Midlands track in the Birdie's 2019 Wall & Desk Calendars Handicap Chase (4.40).
Beverley hosts the only Flat meeting of the day on turf and the Eddie And Violet Smith Conditions Stakes (3.55) over five furlongs is the feature race on the card, while Lingfield and Chelmsford provide a pair of all-weather cards to complete the day's fare.
