All you need to know on Betfair Chase day including going reports
So what will the Betfair Chase provide this season? The absence of Sizing John was a blow, but the race could still provide some fantastic sporting theatre.
Bristol De Mai is the favourite, but it's a fair bet that the crowd will be cheering home Cue Card, who is bidding to match Kauto Star and win the race for a fourth time.
Away from Haydock there is the seasonal reappearance of Defi Du Seuil at Ascot, and another star returns at Gowran Park as Min has his third start over fences.
Throw in another jumps card at Huntingdon and a brace of all-weather offerings from Lingfield and Wolverhampton and you're all set for a sensational Saturday.
