All you need to know for the Group action at Newmarket and Ascot
With the likes of Death Duty having popped up in Ireland during the week, there is the unmistakable feeling that the jumps season is almost upon us but it remains all about the Flat today, at least as far as the free-to-air races are concerned.
The day's feature is the Group 1 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket, while there is Group racing too from Ascot plus the totepool Two-Year-Old Trophy from Redcar, won by Limato back in 2014.
Away from the ITV4 action, there is jumping from Fontwell and Fairyhouse, with further Flat racing coming from Wolverhampton and Limerick.

What to back
If you are looking for tips but are short on time, you have come to the right place.
It is not just the action in Britain and Ireland to focus on this weekend, with racing from Sha Tin on Sunday morning. If you are looking for pointers, allow Jack McCarron to give you a steer.
What to read
It's Saturday which means our star columnists Richard Hughes and Freddy Tylicki are back and members can enjoy their thoughts online now. Hughes tackles the non-runners debate here, while Tylicki follows up on the issue of wheelchair access to racecourses here.
Meanwhile, Tony O'Hehir has picked out three to watch at Fairyhouse, including Champion Bumper heroine Fayonagh.
What to watch
Only one thing to watch on a Saturday morning and that is the Postcast, with all the best bets from Bruce Millington, Paul Kealy, David Jennings and Rob Catterson.
The best of Racing Post Sport
It is all about international football away from the racing and our expert tipsters discuss their best bets in the Football Postcast.
Final thought
Aidan O'Brien's pursuit of the calendar year Group/Grade 1 record continues at Newmarket today when Roly Poly appears to be his leading hope in a decent Sun Chariot Stakes. We have seen O'Brien score with his so-called second or third strings plenty of times this term though, so should we all be having a little each-way saver on Alluringly?
