All you need to know as Musselburgh stages its Flat opener
The start of the Flat season at Musselburgh signals the return of popular sprinter El Astronaute in the £20,000 Borderlescott Sprint Trophy Conditions Stakes (3.15). The six-year-old enjoyed a great campaign last season, winning three times and finishing inside the top four in every start.
There are two all-weather meetings at Lingfield and Wolverhampton, where Eagles By Day (7.00), a well-bred son of Sea The Stars, makes only his second start for trainer Michael Bell.
