All you need to know as British racing returns after six-day hiatus
The wait is over. The BHA has lifted its ban on British racing after an outbreak of equine influenza halted proceedings for six days and racing fans are duly rewarded for their patience with four meetings.
Plumpton and Musselburgh supply the jumping action with Southwell and Kempton bolstering the menu by each hosting a Flat meeting.
Fairyhouse should not be forgotten either. The Gordon Elliott-trained Missy Tata, who accrued a prolific record in juvenile hurdles in 2016, makes her return to the track following a 777-day absence in the 2m5f mares' beginners chase (2.35).
