All you need for the day as Listed sprint at Naas tops the bill
The Listed Woodlands Stakes (6.20) takes centre stage on an interesting eight-race card at Naas, where the classy Ger Lyons-trained Ardhoomey makes his seasonal bow.
The seven-year-old ran into the likes of Merchant Navy and Fleet Review last season and faces a maximum of nine rivals in his bid to start the year on a winning note.
Elsewhere, the Flat course at Ayr remains unraceable but an abundance of British punting opportunities still remain, with racing at Wolverhampton, Southwell, Newcastle, Windsor and Thirsk.
