Just four days after bringing a Grand National for the ages into millions of living rooms, the ITV4 and Racing TV cameras offer a quality blend of Flat and jumps action from the sport's two headquarters at Newmarket and Cheltenham.
The name Speciosa will be on the lips of every pundit on duty at Newmarket on Wednesday, as we reach the 15th anniversary of her win for trainer Pam Sly in the Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes (3.35), one the filly famously followed up in the 1,000 Guineas.
The once-raced Santa Barbara has become all the rage over the last month to extend Aidan O'Brien's recent domination of the Guineas, while it has become fashionable to knock the Rowley Mile's traditional dress rehearsal for the Classic.
