'16-1 is a bonkers price' - Nick Scholfield and Mike Cattermole join our experts
Is there another star in this year's Tolworth field?
Mike Cattermole, broadcaster and commentator There's nothing here in the Constitution Hill class, I will guarantee that! However, it's a lovely Tolworth line-up, one of the most interesting for a number of years. It is intriguing that Henry De Bromhead is bringing over Arctic Bresil, who beat a big field with ease at Cork. However, the one I am drawn to is L'Astroboy (2.25), who beat Tahmuras in a bumper at Ffos Las last February and returned there to make a winning hurdling debut in November. Of course he has to step up but he looks to have stacks of potential.
James Knight, Coral I think we can safely say there is no Constitution Hill in the line up, but it's a decent race. I prefer Authorised Speed to Tahmuras at the head of the market, but it looks an open race and from a betting perspective I would rather chance an outsider each-way. I thought Nemean Lion ran a very good race trying to give weight to a promising horse at Haydock last time, and he isn't far off any of these from a form perspective.
Maddy Playle, reporter It looks a competitive and exciting race but, without being disrespectful, I'd guess not at this stage. The protagonists probably have it to do on the ratings and form before we can get carried away, with Ireland still likely to dominate the division. The one the market has got wrong is Nemean Lion, who has just 1lb to find with Authorised Speed on official figures. He ran well giving weight to a talented horse in Hullnback last time and 16-1 is a bonkers price.
