Robbie Power is confident of being back in the saddle for the Listowel Harvest Festival next month after getting good news from his specialist.

Power suffered nasty facial injuries from a fall off Flaviana in a 2m mares handicap hurdle at Galway and was operated on last Tuesday.

He said: "The operation was successful on Tuesday and my eye-socket did not need a plate which was great. They placed a plate in my cheekbone and I am hoping to be back within a month.
