Pic D'Orhy heads Ten To Follow leaderboard after Betfair strike at Newbury
Surprise Betfair Hurdle winner Pic D'Orhy has overtaken Irish Champion Hurdle heroine Honeysuckle at the top of the Tote Ten To Follow leading horses' table.
The five-year-old's Newbury success under Harry Cobden resulted in a significant rise up the table and was boosted by a Tote win and place return of £79.
Johnny de la Hey's gelding now sits on 94 points, with Honeysuckle on 80.3. Welsh National winner Potters Corner is third and has 77.4 points.
Denman Chase scorer Native River and Annie Mc moved into the top 20, with the 2018 Gold Cup winner picking up 22.4 points and Jonjo O'Neill's mare gaining 11.3 points after her third win of the season.
Altior, who returned to winning ways in the Game Spirit Chase, enters the leaderboard for the first time on 22.4 points and will look to add more to his tally in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham next month.
Rouge Vif (25.3), Chantry House (12.5), Indefatigable (16.9), Shishkin (14.4) and Clondaw Castle (18.5) were other notable winners over the weekend.
Pic D’Orhy’s win had no effect on the top of the Ten To Follow competition leaderboard but Bernard D Stable1 moved from fourteen to the number two spot thanks to Altior’s success, which also helped Jamie H Stable6 climb from 38 to seven.
