Photo-finish farce: five days to correct result is simply not acceptable

It is nothing short of farcical that in 2018 the result of a race under the BHA’s jurisdiction has been corrected five days after it was run.

Five days? Surely if it was going to be corrected it should have been done five minutes after the wrong call was given.

A Friday-night all-weather meeting at Kempton in March is never going to be jam-packed with punters, but that’s not the point.
