Persian King's win forces change at top of Tote Ten to Follow leaderboard

Persian King's victory in the Prix d'Ispahan prompted a change in the Tote Ten To Follow leaderboard with Getabird 595 now topping the competition.

The Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old enjoyed his second win of the season in the Group 1 at Chantilly, with a commanding two-length victory to raise his tally to 50.6 points.

Getabird 595 now leads with a score of 400.41 points earned from the ten horses selected. The stable has moved up seven places in the rankings and is just over seven points clear of nearest rival Le Breuil 838.

Even So was the other top-level winner over the weekend, landing the Irish Oaks for Ger Lyons. That victory boosted her by 38 points to a total of 54.1 for the 22 stables she represents in the competition.

On a busy weekend at the Curragh, classy sprinter A’Ali picked up his second Group win of the season in the Sapphire Stakes to raise his tally for the year to 52.82.

Ken Condon's stable star Romanised also picked up 24.2 points for his success in the Minstrel Stakes. Twilight Payment amassed 22.32 points, raising his seasonal score to 41.32, after his Curragh Cup victory.

The week's biggest scorer came from Sunday's Summer Fillies' Stakes, won by outsider Queen Jo Jo. Her last-gasp success at York was rewarded with 39.2 points.

Other key scorers over the weekend included Eagles By Day (34.5), Qaysar (27.2), Sinjaari (25.7) and Moss Gill (22.7).

Oxted remains the highest scoring horse (65.30) in the competition following his wins in the Abernant Stakes and July Cup.
