Owner set to take over at yard that put O'Meara on the map

Roger Fell expects to have his first runners at Nottingham next week after becoming the third man to hold the training licence at Arthington Barn Stables in Helmsley in less than 12 months.

Fell owns the North Yorkshire yard, from which David O'Meara sent out Group 1 winners Amazing Maria, G Force, Mondialiste and Move In Time before moving to Upper Helmsley near York this year.

David Loughnane succeeded O'Meara at the helm and has sent out 24 winners in 2016, but he leaves for a new base near Market Drayton this weekend.
