O'Toole targeting Sedgefield comeback

Finian O'Toole is hoping to return at Sedgefield on August 25 having been off since suffering a horrible fall at Cartmel on May 30 that left him with a burst fracture all along his vertebrae.

The injury sustained on board Alderbrook Lad was worse than first thought, resulting in a prolonged absence of nearly three months.

O'Toole was in a positive frame of mind when giving an update on his progress, saying: "It's very good. I'm at Jack Berry House doing rehab and will be here for the next two weeks, but I'll start riding out just a couple of lots next week."
