O’Regan to miss Munster National ride on Benny after fracturing ankle
Denis O’Regan will miss the ride on Snugsborough Benny in the Munster National at Limerick on Sunday after fracturing his ankle in a schooling accident at Gordon Elliott’s yard last week.
O'Regan, who is the regular rider of Liam Cusack's stable star, has ridden ten winners this season and will be out of action for approximately four weeks.
He said: "I fractured my ankle in a schooling accident at Gordon Elliott's last Wednesday.
"It's unfortunate timing but hopefully I'll be back within four weeks. I've been to see Dr Paddy Kenny and he wants to review on Friday week. I'll know a lot more then."
