Order Of St George, the general 10-1 favourite for the Emirates Melbourne Cup with British bookmakers, is unlikely to make the journey to the other side of the world.

Last season's Irish St Leger winner is unbeaten in his last six starts, but the prospect of carrying big weights at the Spring Carnival has dampened the enthusiasm of connections.

Weights for the BMW Caulfield Cup were revealed on Wednesday, with Order Of St George and stablemate Highland Reel assigned top weight of 58kg (9st 2lb).
