One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Friday

Trainer

Nigel Twiston-Davies has leading hope I Like To Move It in Saturday's Unibet International Hurdle, but he also has a couple of decent chances on Friday in the same Anne-Marie and Jamie Shepperd colours as the Greatwood Hurdle winner.

Master Chewy was bought for £300,000 by Twiston-Davies's son Willy at Cheltenham last November and he returns to the same track in the 2m1f novice hurdle (12.40).

The five-year-old was beaten in two bumpers but chased home Betfair Exchange Trophy favourite Pikar and subsequent winner Hullnback on his hurdling debut at Chepstow.

Master Chewy was in front and set to win when falling at the final hurdle at Ascot last time and is favourite to make amends here.

Grimthorpe Chase winner Undersupervision makes his seasonal reappearance in the feature Dahlbury Handicap Chase (2.25) for the same combination. Twiston-Davies also runs Benny Silver (12.30) and The Kniphand (1.40) at Doncaster as well as Uncle Bert at Bangor (2.35).

Jockey

Nico de Boinville has some nice rides at Cheltenham with Kim Muir runner-up Mister Coffey (1.15) and Dusart (3.35) heading the betting in their respective markets.

Nicky Henderson's stable jockey also rides Attacca (12.40), who made a winning hurdling debut at Kempton last month in the Patricia Pugh silks, donned most notably by Altior for Nicky Henderson. Ben Pauling's Dominateur completes a strong book of rides for De Boinville (2.25).

Horse

La Pagerie has some eye-catching pedigree as a half-sister to dual Grade 1 winner Whisper as well as seven other winners, and the five-year-old makes her debut in the bumper at Bangor (3.45).

The Neil Mulholland-trained mare will be attempting to emulate Whisper by making a winning first appearance and it will be interesting to see how she fares, especially as her owner Dai Walters has had ten bumper winners in the last five seasons.

Race

Master Chewy and Attacca make up part of an intriguing novice hurdle at Cheltenham (12.40), with last month's Listed bumper winner Gentle Slopes attempting to make it back-to-back course wins.

The point-to-point winner is highly thought of by his trainer Milton Harris, who has booked the in-form Jonathan Burke to partner the promising five-year-old on his hurdling debut.

Harry Cobden rode Gentle Slopes to victory last time but his services are required to ride another Listed Cheltenham bumper winner, Timeforatune, for boss Paul Nicholls.

Irish raider Kiki Badger and Commander Of Ten complete a decent field of six in what could be a classy contest.
