Oisin Murphy v William Buick: what Tuesday means in the race to be champion
Oisin Murphy leads William Buick by six winners in the race for the jockeys' championship as the pair head to Leicester to clash after an eventful Monday saw them come away with a winner each.
Buick's winner, Pocket The Profit, came in the first of what had initially been a full book of eight rides at Wolverhampton before a freak set of circumstances meant that Buick was reduced just five rides.
Buick rode three seconds on a frustrating day with Murphy restoring the six winner gap at Kempton aboard Brian Meehan's Cu Chulainn, his only winner from six rides.
Buick will be looking to make amends with eight rides in the East Midlands, with Murphy set for a quieter day with four rides.

Murphy heads to Leicester for four rides, starting with Wynn Palace in the mile nursery handicap (2.40) for John Quinn. The two-year-old was last seen finishing down the field at Redcar.
The defending champion then has a decent chance aboard Able Kane, who finished fourth behind Balmoral Handicap fancy Sunray Major at Ascot last time, in the 7f handicap (3.50).
His penultimate ride, La Hulotte, could be a long price in the 1m2f handicap (4.25) but the rider has a leading chance in the final race of the day (4.55) aboard Future King, a likely favourite in the 7f novice contest after justifying odds-on favouritism last time.

Buick will hope Charlie Appleby's superb season with two-year-olds continues as he looks to get off to a fast start in the both divisions of the 7f novice stakes with Murphy without a ride in either race.
Yukon Star (1.00) faces ten rivals on his debut, while Parlando, a son of Dubawi, is one of nine debutants in the second division (1.30) and the Godolphin pair are likely to be well fancied.
Buick could feasibly have gained three winners on Murphy by the time the defending champion has his first ride, with Porsche Cavalier offering a realistic chance in the 6f fillies' conditions stakes (2.05) for Robyn Brisland. Buick has ridden one winner from just five rides for Brisland so this rare combination should be respected.
Although Midgetonamission is a six-race maiden for Emmet Mullins and now David Evans, the two-year-old's best performance came on her only attempt at a mile when fourth at Redcar last month. The first time-booking of Buick could prove the difference in the mile nursery handicap (2.40).
The Ed Dunlop-trained Maysong leads the market for the seller (3.15) with Persuasion for Charlie Hills (3.50) and Kentucky Kitten for Tim Easterby (4.25) offering some hope in the handicaps while John Butler's Rhythm N Rock could build on his debut third at Kempton to end a busy day for Buick in the closing 7f novice stakes (4.55).
