Oisin Murphy has been announced as the lead ambassador for Racing to School, a charity that provides free learning activities for young people at racecourses, studs and trainers’ yards nationwide.

The champion jockey will spearhead a team of seven ambassadors including commentator John Hunt, Warren Greatrex and Ryan Moore.

“I’m absolutely delighted,” said Murphy. “The charity gives children an opportunity to learn at the races. They get to wear famous silks such as Qatar Racing, Coolmore and Juddmonte.
