O'Brien still plotting but could send two colts to Newmarket to tackle Pinatubo

Aidan O’Brien has admitted to plans at Ballydoyle being up in the air with regards to the Classics, but revealed Wichita and Arizona remain the most likely colts to take on last season’s outstanding juvenile Pinatubo in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket on June 6.

The most successful trainer in the race's history, O'Brien has won the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket ten times, including four of the past five runnings, but the close proximity of Royal Ascot to the first Classic of the season will have a huge bearing on what the master trainer runs in the race this year.

O’Brien explained: “The two main horses who were going to Newmarket originally were Wichita and Arizona, that was the original plan.
