No signs of stopping - Denis O'Regan determined to make 2023 a year to remember

Denis O'Regan is one of the senior riders in the weighing room in Britain and Ireland but he has no plans to slow down this year despite the recent retirement of fellow elder statesman Davy Russell.

A seven-time Grade 1 winning rider, O'Regan had the likes of Mick Fitzgerald, Tony McCoy, Robert Thornton, Paul Carberry, Noel Fehily, Ruby Walsh and Barry Geraghty in behind when guiding Inglis Drever to one of those top-level successes in the 2008 Stayers' Hurdle.

All of those top jockeys in behind O'Regan in that Cheltenham Festival triumph, along with Richard Johnson, have retired since with Russell the latest senior rider to call time on his career at Thurles last month.
