Guard Your Dreams backed to turn form around with Buzz in Ascot's Coral Hurdle
Guard Your Dreams has been backed into 7-2 (from 7) to take on hot favourite Buzz in the Grade 2 Coral Hurdle (2.40) at Ascot.
The five-year-old aims to follow up success at Cheltenham's Showcase meeting last month as he has a first start at Ascot for the team of Nigel and Sam Twiston-Davies.
The early support has moved Guard Your Dreams to challenge Goshen in the betting but the pair will face a tough challenge against short-priced favourite Buzz, who has drifted slightly from evens to 5-4.
The Nicky Henderson-trained runner got the better of Guard Your Dreams in their only encounter so far, finishing just over a length ahead of him in Newbury's Betfair Hurdle in February.
Last seen winning the Cesarewitch in October, Buzz could seal back-to-back wins in the Coral Hurdle for Nico de Boinville, who won in 2020 on the reopposing Song For Someone.
A Plus Tard warm order for the Betfair Chase after Next Destination ruled out
Betfair Chase favourite A Plus Tard has hardened in the market as he seeks to deny Bristol De Mai a fourth success at Haydock (3.00).
The Gold Cup runner-up has been backed into 6-5 (from 13-8) as he makes his seasonal reappearance and attempts to give Henry de Bromhead his first success in the Grade 1.
Winner of the Grade 1 Savills Chase at Punchestown last season, A Plus Tard completed a one-two in the Gold Cup behind Minella Indo for De Bromhead under Rachael Blackmore, who forgoes the ride on Bob Olinger at Gowran Park in favour of the seven-year-old.
After Next Destination was ruled out earlier on Saturday morning, Bristol De Mai solidified his position as second favourite in the market at 3-1, while Royale Pagaille has been backed into 8-1 (from 11).

Next Destination ruled out of Betfair Chase clash after failing to eat up
Next Destination, who had been set to make his seasonal reappearance in the Grade 1 Betfair Chase at Haydock, was ruled a non-runner after failing to eat up on Saturday morning.
The nine-year-old was a general 13-2 shot for what was due to be his first test over fences in open company, where he was set to take on favourite A Plus Tard alongside three-time Betfair Chase winner Bristol De Mai.
Trainer Paul Nicholls said: "Sadly I've had to make him a non runner but it's nothing serious. I came up to Haydock yesterday and Clifford, my head lad, rang me last night and said he wasn't happy with him. When he went to him this morning, he hadn't touched his food. And he usually eats everything.
"Clifford said there is obviously something troubling him somewhere, he's not right, so we can't run him. It's sad but these things happen."
A dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles, Next Destination moved from the yard of Willie Mullins to Nicholls last year, where he undertook a novice chasing campaign that included two Grade 2 wins under Harry Cobden, who had been due to ride once more on Saturday.
"When you get a horse who'd normally eats everything and then doesn't eat a thing there's obviously something troubling him a little bit," Nicholls added.
"There are loads of other races he can run in next. We'll see what happens and we wouldn't rule anything in or out. It could just be a 48-hour thing."
