William Haggas has warned ante-post punters that Racing Post Trophy winner Rivet is not certain to go to the Qipco 2,000 Guineas next year.

But the Investec Derby could be a possibility for his colt, who left a disappointing effort in the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket behind as he made all in the final Group 1 race of the season.

Andrea Atzeni, riding his fourth straight winner in the one-mile contest, was impressed by the speed his mount showed at Doncaster.
