Ireland and Britain were both inspection-free on Friday afternoon, for the first time this week as the rain finally relented – but the day still brought two more cancellations.

Limerick, which was due to race on Saturday, and Sunday's card at Naas were both washed away, although Naas will restage their fixture next Friday.

The Gladness Stakes and Alleged Stakes, the pair of Group 3 highlights at Naas, will revert to the original entry stage. The other races on the card are being reopened and will close on Monday, when there will be a forfeit stage and a supplementary stage for the two Group contests.

Also rescheduled on Friday was the final day of Fairyhouse's Easter festival meeting, which was cancelled on Tuesday. It will now be staged a week on Tuesday and all races on the card will close for fresh entries on Thursday.

The original Fairyhouse fixture scheduled for Tuesday week has been moved to two days later, and will be run as an evening meeting. It will be a hurdles and bumper card and the fixture will be run on the inside track.

Saturday's Flat card at Navan was given the go-ahead after a lunchtime inspection on Friday.
