Patrick Mullins: 'Riding Chacun in the Tingle Creek is what dreams are made of'
Jürgen Klopp introduced heavy metal football to Liverpool and Patrick Mullins is planning on bringing rock and roll riding to Sandown as the champion amateur looks forward to one of the most exciting mounts of his career when he takes centre stage on Chacun Pour Soi in Saturday's Betfair Tingle Creek Chase.
Tactics may have cost Chacun Pour Soi victory in last season's Champion Chase according to Mullins, who believes Paul Townend got the best out of the crack two-miler at the Punchestown festival when running his rivals ragged from the front.
Mullins, who rode his father Willie's 2016 Tingle Creek winner Un De Sceaux to Grade 1 glory at the 2018 Punchestown festival, described riding in the top two-mile races as "fast and furious" and isn't planning on hanging about on Chacun Pour Soi at Sandown.
