Gary Moore says he is happy to play the role of the underdog as he launches a twin assault on Saturday's BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham with Baron Alco and Benatar.

The early weeks of the jumps campaign have seen big names such as Paul Nicholls, Nicky Henderson and Colin Tizzard grabbing the headlines and the Henderson-trained Rather Be has been well punted into 9-2 favourite for the £160,000 contest.

But Moore fields two live chances of lifting the prize in Baron Alco and Benatar, who both hit the crossbar at the Cheltenham Festival and have each had a run already this season.
