Road To Respect will skip the King George and stay on home soil this Christmas as trainer Noel Meade plots a campaign geared around a second tilt at the Gold Cup.

The Grade 1 Savills Chase at Leopardstown on December 28 is the next target for the seven-year-old, who started the season with an impressive 16-length win in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal earlier this month.

A top-priced 16-1 for the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup, in which he finished fourth last season, the son of Gamut still holds an entry for the King George VI Chase at Kempton, for which he is quoted at 14-1.
