Marsha set to stay in training following Abbaye heroics

Racing's sometimes agonising unpredictability was brought into sharp focus with the result of the Prix de l'Abbaye at Chantilly on Sunday.

Top sprints have become notorious for bewildering swings in form, but Sunday's Group 1 produced an amazing turnaround inside three weeks over the same course and distance.

Ron Harris had travelled with high hopes of Just Glamorous repeating his September victory, when he easily beat Marsha by three lengths, but while Marsha ran out the winner, Just Glamorous trailed home second-last of the 17 runners.
