Market Rasen passes late inspection after morning snowfall

Market Rasen will race as planned this afternoon after a late inspection was called following heavier than forecast snowfall hitting the Lincolnshire track.

The inspection was called for 10.30am and was successfully passed, with the going described as good to soft ahead of the seven-race card. The first race is due off at 12.22.

Market Rasen is the second meeting in Britain that needed to pass an inspection this morning, with Leicester's six-race card given the green light following an 8am inspection after overnight frost.
