Charlie Mann is looking forward to being able to concentrate on his horses having been informed he no longer faces charges over an alleged assault at his Lambourn property.

The Grade 1-winning trainer has consistently stated his innocence since being arrested in January after the complainant called police alleging an incident had taken place.

Mann said: "I'm delighted the truth has finally come out. My bail has been cancelled and all charges have been dropped. It's a big weight off my shoulders. I'm now looking forward to the new season and running some lovely horses.
