Lynch pleased with stable star following racecourse gallop

Andrew Lynch has provided an upbeat bulletin on stable star Zabana ahead of what the County Meath trainer hopes will be a fruitful season with the young chaser.

Zabana experienced an early-season setback but following a recent racecourse spin Lynch is now planning on starting the Grade 1-winning novice chaser off in the coming weeks.

“He did a nice piece of work at Leopardstown after racing on Sunday," he said. "He worked well and I'm very happy with him.
