Luckless Flat jockey Ali Rawlinson is facing another spell out of action after discovering he rode a winner with an undiagnosed broken leg last week.

He could be sidelined for six weeks and admits it is "a bitter pill to take", having worked hard to re-establish himself after returning in January following seven months out with a career-threatening ankle injury.

Rawlinson's latest setback had its origins in an incident at Chester late last month.
