Luca Cumani has addressed the tricky question of which of his former assistants should take over the training of the Fittocks Stud element of his team following his retirement by deciding that none of them will.

The list of Cumani's former assistants is lengthy and includes such Newmarket luminaries as David Simcock, Chris Wall, Marco Botti and Amy Murphy but Cumani has opted not to renew old links.

He said on Tuesday: "Completing the allocation of the Fittocks Stud horses has been a very difficult decision as many of my former assistants are around and are now great friends.
