Luca Cumani hopeful Tattersalls can strike a deal for 500,000gns colt

Luca Cumani is hoping Tattersalls can "strike a deal" with interested parties for the Kingman colt he originally sold to Richard Knight at the autumn yearling sales rather than putting him through the ring.

The Classic-winning trainer and his Fittocks Stud operation sold 11 horses for a gross return of more than six million guineas in October, including the Kingman colt knocked down for 500,000gns.

He is one of 17 horses set to be reoffered by Tattersalls after being purchased by Knight on behalf of Derby-winning owner Saleh Al Homaizi, who it was revealed on Saturday had not paid for them.
