Gosden ventured on to the Limekilns for the first time in over a month after 7mm of rain made the round gallop passable and the scopey grey impressed when scooting clear of older companion Crossed Baton under Kieran O'Neill. The Juddmonte-owned three-year-old is booked for the Group 2 Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes at York next Wednesday.
